Metal Coil Slitting
The slitting service is additional to cutting, with the accurate required dimensions of a wide variety of sheet metal types and thicknesses.
Metal Coil Slitting is a precision process by which wide coils of metal are cut into narrower coils. The process involves feeding the coil into Slitter machines which have extremely sharp circular blades arranged with required widths.
The Slitting machine has three main stages
- Un-coiler
- Slitter and
- Re-coiler
Our latest machines are PLC controlled with high accuracy and speed. These can effectively handle carbon steel, galvanized steel, silicon steel, tinplate, stainless steel, pre-painted steel, aluminum, and others.
The precision slitting production line is for material 1-6 mm thick, 2,000 mm width of the coil, with a speed of 60 m/min, cutting to 30 strip lines.
